View PowerPoint attachments in Gmail and upload them to Google Docs
Source: Official Google Docs Blog
If you're an active Gmail user, you probably know that you can open Microsoft Word and Excel attachments from within Gmail and import them to Google Docs. Gmail also provided a basic View as slideshow option for PowerPoint attachments. Today we're improving this feature by making it easier for you to upload presentations from Gmail and edit them in Google Docs. When you receive a PowerPoint attachment, simply click the View option to open and preview the presentation in a new online viewer, powered by Google Docs. If you'd like to save the presentation to Google Docs, just click Edit Online and it'll be imported into Google Docs.
To read more about this new viewer, check out the Gmail blog.

Eraser
Source: Kim Komando
When you delete files from the Recycle Bin, they're not really gone. They linger on the hard drive, out of sight, but still within reach. This can spell trouble if you're getting rid of a computer. This program is a handy tool that deletes files permanently. It overwrites a file's space several times over with meaningless data. The result is a deleted file nearly impossible to recover.

Google Chrome
The purpose of Google's Chrome browser is to effectively make the "browser disappear" and to make the web "faster, safer, and easier." One rather noticeable feature is that instead of having a traditional toolbar, Chrome puts its tabs on top, and allows users to move them around to suit their own purposes. Users can also take advantage of the individual controls within each tab, which include forward and back buttons. Finally, the browser also contains a hybrid device which brings together the search box and the address bar. This version of Chrome is compatible with computers running Windows Vista and XP.

Who Wants to be a Millionaire Clip
If you didn’t find anything to "feel good" about the movie "Slumdog Millionaire", do watch this three minute video of John Carpenter winning a million dollars in real life on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" game show. The best part in the video is the conversation that John had with his dad (via phone-a-friend) as he was about to create history in US by becoming the first millionaire winner - and he didn’t use any of the lifelines. The episode aired in 1999 but worth watching nevertheless.
