BRAND NEW ... Back Issues of the SchoolCounselor.com
e-Newsletter Issues 71-95

This e-book is a compilation of Issues 71-95 as they were published on the SchoolCounselor.com website. I’ve made sure that all links on these pages are active so that you may conveniently click on any resource (usually blue and underlined) and go right to that webpage – no need to type website addresses. This one has over 630 links throughout 200 pages!

After purchasing, you will be sent directly to a web page with the download link. As well, you will receive an email with the same link. The download is a PDF file which requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader (although I recommend
Foxit which is also free).

Only $8 (that’s it, no other fees)

Bonus .. If you want to go way back and receive issues 20-95 (3 files with over 500 pages), that’s only $15 for a limited time.

Automatically Capitalizing Day Names

Summary: Type the name of any of the seven days into your document, and Word automatically makes sure it is capitalized. This is done by the AutoCorrect feature, and you can turn it on or off, as desired. (This tip works with Microsoft Word 97, Word 2000, Word 2002, Word 2003, and Word 2007.)

Use this to insert YouTube videos into a PowerPoint slide. All you need to do is to provide the YouTube video URL that appears in the browser address bar, the rest is taken care of by the YTV Wizard.

Note: YouTube videos are streamed so a live internet connection is required to playback the video during the slideshow. Use the free FlashBack add-in to play/rewind the YouTube video automatically.

WebNotes

Have you ever wished you could take a yellow highlighter to a Web page--say, a particularly noteworthy passage in, say, a really witty and helpful blog post--so you could easily retrieve the information later on? That's the idea behind WebNotes, which adds a virtual highlighter and sticky notes to your browsing experience.

Gmail Updates

Source: BSU

The ability to select multiple file attachments simultaneously when attaching files to Gmail messages was recently implemented by Google. If you’re using Windows and want to add more than one file attachment, hold down the Ctrl key while selecting each file. If you’re using a Mac, hold down the Cmd (Apple) key. You’ll also see a nifty progress bar while the attachment(s) load(s).

Also, Google has upped the maximum file attachment size to 25 megabytes (that’s a heapin’ 5 mb more than before) for Gmail.
